Motorola Edge 70 officially debuts - at what price?

Motorola has thumbed its nose at Samsung and Apple and shown that a slim, less than 6mm thick smartphone doesn't necessarily have to have a small battery that's inadequate for today's users. The Motorola Edge 70 has a 4800 mAh battery that charges at 68W, and its thin casing also houses a coil for inductive charging at 15W. At the heart of the new smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, supported by LPDDR5X and uMCP memory, with capacities of 8+256 or 12+512 GB - depending on the market. Motorola Edge 70 also features a decent 6.67-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 4500 nits of brightness, surrounded by a narrow bezel. Photography isn't lacking either. The Edge 70 features three 50-megapixel cameras: a front-facing (f/2.0), a main camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture, and a wide-angle camera (f/2.0, 112-degree macro). Moto AI with Photo Enhancement Engine automatically enhances the detail and colors of your photos. The manufacturer promises over 50 hours of battery life – thanks in large part to a lightweight interface overlay based on Android 16. The Edge 70 is covered by six years of support. This includes four full Android system updates and regular bi-monthly security updates until July 2031. There are also stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, and Dual SIM with eSIM. The device's frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum combined with a nylon-inspired material. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and the casing meets IP68/69 certification and MIL-STD-810H durability. The smartphone's dimensions are 159x74x5.99 mm and it weighs 159 g.

The smartphone is available in three colors: graphite (Gadget Grey), mint (Lily Pad), and green (Bronze Green). To celebrate the launch of the Motorola Edge 70, a special promotion has been prepared, valid from November 5th to December 31st, 2025.
