The Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro smartphones have been officially unveiled in China. Although they may seem mid-range, they boast some of the same features that even flagships would envy!
The new Honor phones might be criticized for their similar appearance to the iPhone Air—but that's probably the only thing to complain about. Everything else is definitely more attractive. Both models have metal frames and glass backs, are quite slim—7.8mm each—and offer high water resistance ratings—IP68 and IP69K. Both feature the same displays – 6.55-inch LTPO OLEDs with resolutions of 1264 x 2736 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 6000 nits. Both feature under-screen fingerprint readers and 50-megapixel selfie cameras (f/2.0). They also share large batteries – silicon-carbon 8000 mAh, with 80-watt charging and 27-watt reverse charging. The Pro model also features 50-watt inductive charging.
