The colourful budget Infinix Smart 20 appeared in stores a week ago, but its exact specifications remained uncertain – until now.
The Infinix Smart 20 in Store page has been silent on its camera setup, but it seems that's for good reason – this smartphone only offers an 8MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera. However, its thickness, measuring just 7.7mm, may appeal. The Infinix Smart 20's display measures 6.78 inches diagonally, has HD+ resolution, a peak brightness of 700 nits, and a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Dynamic Bar feature combines a punch-hole selfie camera with a notification area similar to the Dynamic Island on Apple smartphones. It also features an Always-On Display, a feature rarely seen in smartphones with IPS LCD screens.
The Infinix Smart 20 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor, and is paired with 4 GB of RAM, expandable by 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 2 TB. Its 5200 mAh battery charges at 15W, but also supports 5W reverse wired charging. The operating system is Android 16 with the XOS 16 interface. The Infinix Smart 20 also features IP64 waterproofing, an infrared transmitter, FM radio, NFC, dual SIM, a 3.5mm jack, and Ultralink connectivity.
The Infinix Smart 20 will be available in four colour options – Shadow Black, Polaris Titanium White, Sunlike Orange, and Cloudline Blue. Global availability and pricing have not yet been confirmed, but it will certainly be an affordable smartphone – in the Philippines, the 6+64GB variant is priced at ₱4,499, or approximately $78.65.
