The much-anticipated compact Xiaomi tablet has debuted in China. What does the Redmi Pad 2 SE offer?
Redmi Pad 2 SE is available in two versions – with and without an LTE modem. The LTE version is available in silver, while the model without the modem is also available in black. Currently, only the 6GB+128GB variant is available. What else does the Redmi Pad 2 SE offer? The tablet features a 9.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2048x1280 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a brightness of up to 600 nits, along with certified eye-safety features. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, and offers LPDDR4x and UFS 2.2 memory, with internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card. HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, powers a 7600 mAh battery with 18-watt charging. However, in China, only a 15-watt charger is included. Stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support, a minijack, and two cameras: a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera, are also included. The tablet also offers Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and the modem version can support two SIM cards. The Redmi Pad 2 SE has a 7.4 mm thick metal body and weighs approximately 400 g. The Wi-Fi version costs 1099 yuan, while the LTE version costs 1399 yuan, which translates to $160-205.
