Although Asus has abandoned smartphone production, it hasn't given up on tablets. And so, the much-anticipated new Asus Pad has just seen the light of day!
Asus Pad features a 12.2-inch OLED display with a new, dual-layer technology. This solution, also known as a tandem display, uses two emissive layers of the OLED panel, which is said to provide better brightness, higher energy efficiency, and longer screen life. This display has a resolution of 2800 x 1840 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and up to 600 nits of brightness. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, supported by LPDDR5x and UFS 3.1 memory, and the internal memory can be expanded with a 1 TB microSD card. You can choose from 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory.

It also features Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, as well as Android 16. The tablet is available with an Asus Pen 2.0 stylus and a keyboard case. The entire device is 6.5 mm thick and weighs 523 g. Unfortunately, pricing is not yet available.
