In China, Vivo today unveiled a powerful mid-range phone, while for India it has prepared a low-end model. Vivo T5e is an entry-level smartphone – but it's affordable.
Vivo T5e – as an ultra-budget smartphone – won't impress with its specifications, but it does have a few more attractive details. The smartphone boasts increased durability and IP64 waterproofing. The fresh Android 16 system with Origin OS 6.0 is also worth praising, as is the presence of an FM radio, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a microSD card slot. Things get a bit less impressive, with a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 570 nits of brightness, as well as a Unisoc T7225 processor, supported by LPDDR4x and eMMC 5.1 memory with capacities of... 4+64 GB. The Vivo T5e cameras are also on the lower end of the price scale. The front camera has only 5 megapixels and an f/2.2 aperture, while the rear camera is only slightly better, with an 8-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. Everything is powered by a 5500 mAh battery with 15-watt charging. The smartphone is available in two colors, measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm, and weighs 199 g.
