In addition to new smartphones, Apple has unveiled new wearables: Apple Watch smartwatches and AirPods 5 headphones.

Apple Watch Series 12

The new Apple Watch Series 12 features advanced health sensors and an all-new Apple chip. The watch delivers the most accurate heart rate measurement available in a wearable device, along with advanced health and fitness capabilities. Thanks to the new health monitoring system and the S11 chip, the Apple Watch Series 12 measures heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) more frequently. Key features include advanced workout and sleep tracking, heart health notifications, an ECG app, sleep apnea alerts, Fall Detection, and Emergency SOS. New features arriving later this year will also help the deaf and hard of hearing detect important environmental sounds. The Apple Watch Series 12 is available in a range of striking finishes, including aluminum cases in dark brown, black, light gold, and space gray, as well as titanium cases in vivid gold and natural titanium. It is also available in stunning ceramic versions in pearl white and midnight blue. The aluminum models now feature a Ceramic Shield 2 layer, which is harder than the glass on any other smartwatch and 60 percent more durable than the Ion‑X glass found in previous aluminum models. The watches are available in two sizes—42 mm and 46 mm—and in GPS or non-GPS variants. Prices start at $399 for the base model, $699 for the titanium version, and $899 for the ceramic model.

Apple Watch Ultra 4

Thanks to a new health monitoring system and the S11 chip, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 delivers the most accurate heart rate measurement in the wearables category, provides more frequent heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) readings, and introduces a new readiness metric to support athletes across all disciplines. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 also offers extended battery life—enabling up to 45 hours of outdoor workout tracking—and features the most accurate on-device GPS system ever found in a sports watch. Later this year, a refreshed Health app for iPhone will launch, featuring a new "Longevity" tab with a "Health Age" function that shows how specific metrics compare to the user's actual age. The S11 chip—Apple’s most powerful processor designed for wearables—not only powers the health monitoring system but also enables new Audio Intelligence features (coming at a later date). These features help users recall key moments from conversations and stay aware of important sounds. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is available in elegant and durable titanium versions in natural and black finishes. Prices start at $799.

AirPods 5

AirPods 5 debut with groundbreaking open-ear Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and even better sound quality. AirPods 5 feature a new multi-port acoustic design and next-generation adaptive EQ, while the groundbreaking open-ear ANC eliminates up to 50 percent more unwanted ambient noise than AirPods 4 with ANC. Additionally, Transparency mode now feels more natural. You can also respond to Siri using head gestures. AirPods 5 are affordable and offer enhanced resistance to dust, sweat, and water—available starting at $129. For users seeking even greater freedom, the AirPods 5 model with a wireless charging case is now available for $149, featuring extended battery life and volume controls on the earbud stem.
