The Indian brand Lava has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the Lava Virat Curve. Beyond its curved screen, it stands out thanks to an additional notification display on the back of the casing.
The Lava Virat Curve 5G owes its name to its curved-edge screen. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1100 nits. The display supports a 10-bit color palette with full DCI-P3 gamut coverage. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and runs on a clean version of Android 16. The system includes the local Vayu AI assistant and comes with a promise of two major OS updates and three years of security support.
