Idol in a virtual reality

Known mostly from the so-called budget-class devices, Alcatel surprised us positively by offering a smartphone worthy of the highest shelf – both when it comes to looks and specification, as well as additional accessories. From the outside, the smartphone is a combination of metal and glass, while on the inside it hides an octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM, and is being sold in a set with comfortable glasses for the virtual reality.

Asus with an extraordinary camera

The camera in Zenfone Zoom cannot be missed. This is the main star of one of the newest models from the Taiwanese manufacturer, which boasts with a 3x digital zoom, optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and optics signed by the Japanese Hoya manufacturer. And the smartphone itself has impressive parameters, it is not cheap, but when it comes to the price it is slightly below popular flagships.

Sony takes a shot in the middle-price shelf

It is a good thing that along with the new Xperia series Sony decided to launch models available for everyone – while Xperia X and X Performance are models from a higher shelf, the XA model represents the middle class. It has nice parameters, almost a bezel-less display and a decent camera, but I must complain mainly about the short lifespan.

It does not break

At first, Moto X Force seems like a typical smartphone. However, it is… unusual. This is one of those few models that I did not have to be careful about during the review.

Expensive and underappreciated

I invite you to the review of the most underappreciated flagship of this year. Due to a rather high price, HTC 10 will not be a sales hit, though it is extremely difficult to pinpoint any major flaws.

Surprisingly a lot for a surprisingly low cost

This is a really interesting and a profitable model for those that are not discouraged by less popular, Asian brands. For young – this slogan indicates for who the Note S model was originally designed – but everyone who is looking for a good, cheap phone with a large diameter will be pleased with it.

With big aspirations

The Chinese ZTE company decided to attack the segment of the highest-class smartphones with its Axon series. Thanks to the courtesy of GearBest I could familiarise myself with the ZTE Axon Elite model, which is the top phone of this series.

Modular flagship smartphone

When I first saw LG G5 at the stand in Barcelona it did not made much impression on me – neither in the concept of its modular housing, nor with its looks. That is why I was most pleased when G5 came into my hands. In home conditions and without the hustle and bustle of the convention I could find out what the new model from LG really has to offer.

A nice middle-class

This is a smartphone in which we can fall in love with from the first side. It looks better live than in photos or in commercials. It is compact in its size, it is neat, well-made – a great representative of the new generation of cheap smartphones. Well, I cannot deny this; this is a good phone, but in its price shelve it has a strong competition.
