Hello, I purchased this phone out of curiosity regarding the lack of Google services and how everything would work. I previously owned the p10 lite, p20 lite, mate 20, and p30, and there were no better phones for me until Google services disappeared. I am currently using the oppo reno 6pro and, for me, there is currently no competition for this phone, although I recently owned a galaxy s20 which had an excellent display, but that was all – the rest was of very poor quality. Returning to the Huawei P40, it is a truly nice phone; most importantly, it is not a bulky device. It is a nice, small, functional phone that takes very good photos. The battery lasts up to 2 days, and as for Google services – they are not missing. Well, almost everything is in AppGallery or GSpace, so I think I will return to Huawei, perhaps to one of the newer models. Only NFC payments are already available but currently require a fee, although it is manageable; one can pay using Blik.

As a phone - great. But I bought it for the advertised photo quality, and it turned out to be terrible compared to the P20 Pro I previously owned.

I had this device twice :D Hardware and software in this device are a masterpiece. A small phone with a huge sensor that captures great photos. Plus, the battery, charging, speed of operation, and face recognition. The biggest downside is the lack of an Android update to at least version 12. It was released and stayed on version 10 (EMUI 12)? this is the biggest downside that will ruin this great device :( I cannot find anything sensible as a replacement and I have been constantly changing phones for almost 2 years.

The worst phone I have ever had. Every day something is irritating due to the lack of access to Google. Most applications are connected to Google, so almost everything does not work. There are applications for bypassing Google (on the Huawei website), but this is of limited help because the applications either do not work or only function partially. I advise against the purchase, every day something is annoying and makes life difficult
