FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Unfortunately, Redmi Note 10 Pro doesn’t support inductive charging. It is only possible to charge using a traditional charger. Phones with inductive charging can be found using our advanced search.
The manufacturer of Redmi Note 10 Pro has included the option to connect wired headphones via a jack socket in the device's specifications. The user is therefore not limited to using only Bluetooth headphones.

10 PRO is my 3rd Xiaomi device, bought on 13.10.2021. It is a good device. It does not cause me any of the problems that others write about in the comments. I do not know much about photography, but the photos I took were considered nice according to other people's opinions. You have to get used to the device's layout and not complain that nothing is where it should be. The designer saw the order in the device differently. The battery easily lasts 3 days, with 1-2 hours of GPS usage daily. Calls, SMS, emails, messages, music, and various other activities work without interference. I have a hearing problem in my left ear (~50%), so I take calls via the speaker and I can hear everything, setting the volume to 1/2 strength. Doniu's opinion surprises me. Complaining about the weight and size of the phone is an exaggeration; one should have thought about it and bought a small, old-fashioned phone. Easy one-handed operation and it fits in a small jacket pocket. My phone has one serious flaw: it lacks self-service. I have to do everything myself. Sincerely, Jan.
Dear User, two remarks: if you write a comment here, please write directly in the comment box and do not paste from a Windows editor. I had to manually correct every Polish letter. Do not comment on other users' comments, only on the device. That is what this system is for. Everyone has their own opinion and it is worth respecting it by being surprised on your own account, but not necessarily publicly. Regards. (jf)

A very good smartphone, unless hardware requirements are high, then please buy a different one.

I must admit it is a very durable model - it survived many falls. I do not know to what extent they affected its functioning. Regarding drawbacks, primarily screen burn-in. The color quality was indeed good due to the Super AMOLED display, however, after some time, pixels permanently burned in where the keyboard and status bar are located. As a result, the keyboard letters and the top bar were slightly visible on the screen all the time, which appeared very unsightly and was distracting. Regarding the smoothness of operation, it froze often, but I filled the memory almost to its capacity - a large number of applications and an extremely large number of photos in the gallery, so considering that, it still performed very well. Websites tended to load slowly. The battery was a complete failure from the beginning. Toward the end of using this phone, it was in such a condition that it required charging several times a day. It was impossible for it to last the whole day; it was completely discharged by the afternoon. As many people have already mentioned, there were problems with the sensor during phone calls - the screen would turn on while held to the ear, which made conversations very difficult. In addition, the phone often did not provide a call signal after dialing a number. Only after hanging up and calling again was the signal present. The camera was mediocre, rather average, but it was possible to take a nice photo. In summary, the greatest advantage was the display (primarily at the beginning) and general smoothness of operation, but unfortunately, these advantages faded over time. I would not buy it again.

My employer made me unhappy with this smartphone; unfortunately, the only other choices were even worse low-quality products - I chose the lesser evil :-) Right at the start after booting, the system immediately updated to Android 12. After a week of use, I know one thing - the system desktop manager freezes several times a day (I receive a message and there is not even an option to send a report). A Samsung 256 GB uSD card and two SIM cards - Orange and PLAY - are installed. You have to wait a full minute or even two for the system to process the freeze and refresh the desktop - there is no pattern or reason for this state of affairs. The dual-SIM implementation is hopeless. When talking on one of the cards, the person calling us hears nothing; only after about half a minute does a call redirection occur, carried out by the operator because it detects unavailability in its network. In short - using one of the cards disables the other card without sending information to the operator. An additional annoying issue is the ads displayed after using system applications !!! Does the system file manager have to be paid for to be ad-free? I have my phone replaced every two years and I have no intention of registering with the manufacturer's service - the device should be ready for use, and not that the customer only gains access to increased product utility after registering. In a word, I do not recommend it - whoever decides on it should either pay less for something cheaper or pay more and buy better equipment, regardless of the manufacturer.

The phone is great for this price, I will start with the drawbacks: for me, it has 4 flaws: - a very minor flaw: lack of 5G. Honestly? It is possible to live with that; why should it be a problem? A minor flaw: the fingerprint reader sometimes fails a little. It recognizes the thumb almost 99% of the time, but unfortunately, the index finger is about fifty-fifty. A moderate flaw: the sounds are a bit too loud and there is no sensible volume adjustment for ringtones and notifications. It is poorly designed because you adjust the ringtone and notifications with a single slider, so you cannot have a loud ringtone and quiet notifications... Fortunately, an external application helped.
And - a significant flaw for me: it has weaker Wi-Fi reception in my house. Where an old 4-year-old LG, which cost 650 PLN when new, caught Wi-Fi throughout the house without issues, the new, powerful, and more expensive Redmi Note 10 Pro has unreliable reception in one room and none at all in the kitchen... For me, this is a major failure. The rest are only advantages: a strong battery, a nice display, powerful stereo speakers with clear sound, a great camera, an attractive appearance, fast operation, nothing freezes, and nothing malfunctions. As for the camera, after many tests, I found that the standard mode with HDR and AI works better than the pro mode and 108 Mpix... The photos are simply better then...

I have been using this smartphone for over 2.5 years. Purchased at xkom, 6/64 version. I am very satisfied with this device; there are no problems with it. Of course, the memory could be larger. Shortly after the purchase, there was increased battery drain, but it was corrected with an update. Now, if I make a significant effort, from 7:00 to 24:00 I still have about 30% battery. The device operates smoothly, the camera takes nice photos, the display is beautiful, and VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth work very well, which is very important to me. There are no problems with the hotspot operation. The call quality is great. I was considering changing the smartphone to another one because I have always changed after about 2.5 years. I wanted to purchase a flagship for the first time. The longer I search and watch reviews, the more I learn about the huge downsides of these very expensive devices. Either it is a flawed Exynos processor that heats up significantly and the battery depletes rapidly, or it is poor reception or photos that are not that good for the price. I thought about Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus? I do not want an iPhone, although maybe it would be a good choice. In the end, it turns out that the smartphone I own is very good and it is better to stick with it. I will wait another year and see. I recommend the Redmi Note 10 Pro with a clear conscience.

I owned this model for a year and a half. It truly was Pro, but it also had flaws from the very beginning! I could not download files in a certain application that I used daily; in fact, others could not do so on their phones either when they were connected to the internet I shared with them (hot spot). Interestingly, I later purchased another unit of this model and the same problem occurred. It was extremely strange. In addition, when I wanted to watch something on the TVN application TVN PLAYER, advertisements played normally, but the program itself would not start; the screen was dark. And again, when I shared the internet with someone, they could not do it on their smartphone/tablet either. Furthermore, when I turned off the screen while using navigation, the phone stopped navigating. After a few minutes, a message appeared saying "GPS signal lost". So when going on a long journey, the screen had to be turned on all the time. It was completely absurd. Previously I had a Xiaomi Mi 9T, and now I have a Redmi note 11s and there is no navigation problem. Where is the logic in that?

I have owned this phone for over 2 years and have had zero problems. Admittedly, after updating to Android 13, it drains the battery a bit more, but that is more due to the nature of Android 13 and the decrease in battery cell efficiency, which is a normal process (it is difficult to expect the same performance as immediately after taking it out of the box). This phone was occasionally exposed to heavy rain, intense sun, and falling snow during freezing temperatures, and nothing happened. It still works very well, provided that it is connected to the charger when the battery level is around 20 % and not charged to a full 100 %. Since the moment of purchase and inserting the SIM card, it has never turned off on its own once. Most problems reported by others probably result from purchasing a used device or a Chinese distribution. The only thing missing is a 5G modem in this model (and perhaps inductive charging), but that would already be a completely different price range. I recommend it even in 2024.

I have owned this phone since the day of its premiere. The battery is weaker than in the Redmi Note 8 Pro, but the screen is excellent, and everything operates very smoothly in the 8/128 version. When reading some negative reviews, I find it hard to believe that this phone could perform slowly for anyone. If someone has signal and internet from a poor-quality network, even the device will not improve that. In the city, everything functions perfectly, at least for the Plus network. The photos are good; one just needs to know how to take them. I highly recommend it. After 2 years of use, I will switch to Xiaomi again. This is my fourth phone from this manufacturer, and I have never been disappointed. The MIUI 14 and Android 13 update has recently arrived. The included charger is 33W, but it charges exceptionally quickly. If someone only makes calls and sends messages, it can last for 5 days on a single charge. Compared to Samsung, it lasts longer, and there is no question about it.

Hello. I have owned this phone for over two years and I am very satisfied. Before this model, I was a user of the Redmi Note 5 Plus, which was also satisfactory. In the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the advantages are the battery, the ultra-power saving mode which has helped me many times, the camera, and the operating speed. On the downside, it is a bit heavy and bulky, and there are those advertisements. Initially, I experienced some stuttering and freezes caused by full memory, but after purchasing a 256 GB microSD card and changing the camera settings to save photos on the card, the problem with lagging and stuttering ceased. The microSD card is very important; if it has a low read and write speed, it will slow down the phone. Recently, I had to buy a phone for my teenage daughter; she chose the Poco M4 Pro, which also has an AMOLED display. Comparing these two models, I still choose my two-year-old device, although the other one is smaller and lighter. It is all a matter of taste.
