Quietly, without fanfare, Samsung is preparing a new, dual-SIM model: Galaxy Core 2 for the Russian market. One of the Russian sites publishes information on the smartphone, and a leakage is accompanied by pictures, looking now as the official producer renders.
Samsung Galaxy Core 2 will not be a too much thrilling design. This is typical average phone with added support for two SIM cards. Core 2 will have a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz supported with a modest 512 MB of RAM. ROM will also be modest - 4 GB - but there is generously added space on the microSD card, which expands data storage to 32 GB. The smartphone will also receive a 5-megapixel camera, front VGA webcam and a decent battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh. The housing dimensions amount to 129,7x67,9x9,8 mm and it weights - 138 grams. According to the Russians, the phone will hit stores on May 20 at a price equivalent to 200 euro.
