In the information base of the Chinese certifier TENAA appeared another phone that its official launch will have in a few days - at IFA in Berlin. We're talking about Huawei Ascend Mate 7, which appeared already in the numerous unofficial leaks.
This time we have almost official information. Data provided in TENAA - though usually refer to the version on the Chinese market - is very reliable. So let's see if the rumours so far proved to be right. According to TENAA, Mate 7 has a 6-inch FullHD display and an aluminum housing. The pictures clearly show a biometric scanner, placed under the camera lens with a 13-megapixel sensor. This camera has a LED flash and the ability to record Full HD movies, the front camera is equipped with a 5 megapixels matrix. On aboard there is a 16 GB built-in memory which can be upgraded with a microSD card of 128 GB. The smartphone will probably be equipped with LTE support Cat. 6 - but that at the moment we do not know this for sure, because the information in TENAA refers to the local version. The heart of the smartphone will be HiSilicon Kirin 920 CPU, based on the eight-core big.LITTLE architecture with a four-core Cortex-A7 and a four-core Cortex-A15. The system is supported by 2 GB of RAM, although earlier in the AnTuTu benchmark appeared information about 3 GB. Therefore maybe the international version will get more RAM ...? The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 with the overlay KitKat Emotion UI and will be available in silver, black and gold casings.
