Introduced in 2012, Samsung Galaxy Beam with a built-in pico projector did not make too great career. This does not mean, however, that it will not have a successor – which has just appeared in China. Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 will appear on the China Mobile network.
At the moment there is no information about the global distribution of this model, it is not even known anything about its international variant. The model for China Mobile supports local TD-SCDMA network, it may also use bands UMTS 850, 1900 and 2100.

In addition to the built at the peak of the housing pico projector operating in the WVGA resolution (800x480), Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 is a quite simple smartphone running on Android 4.2. It has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and a 4.66-inch WVGA display. The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel camera and a battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. The housing dimensions are 134,5 x70x11,64 mm and it weighs 165 g.
