The Polish service Teleguru presented a quite extensive material on a smartphone Sony Xperia E4, which is expected to debut at the next MWC, ie at the beginning of March 2015. Photos and data come from - as stated in the source - the Swedish branch of Sony.
Due to the fact that Polish journalists were in the hands the finished product, the specification given by them is quite reliable. Of course - until the presentation of the device there may still change a lot, but I do not think there were any major modifications.
The phone differs significantly from the previous affordable Xperia models. The enclosure is made from a new type of plastic, resembling in touch ceramic material. Xperia E4 has a 5-inch 540x960 pixel screen and – which is very interesting – a 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6582 processor, aided by the Mali-400MP4 graphics and a gigabyte of RAM. Teleguru journalists launched on its original smartphone copy the AnTuTu benchmark where the smartphone "scored" 17857 points. It is worth noting that a copy of which was available for the Poles, works Android 4.4.4., and the target version will get version 5.0. A little earlier, there was the mention of the new Sony model appeared in the Indian service Postel. There was information about the E2105 and E2115 models. Probably these markings refer to the single-SIM and DualSIM version... The price of Xperia E4 is expected to be - according to Teleguru - approx. $ 200.
