On the web appeared more rumours about the next LG flagship - G5. The phone can be even more interesting than we previously thought. While rumours prove right...
The website Venturebeat, citing an unnamed source, reports that LG G5 receives a metal housing and a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The phone is to be equipped also with the second, additional display with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. The solution, used for the first time in the model LG V10 is reportedly also to go to a number of other smartphones that LG is planning for the coming year.
Another interesting option is to be a dual camera G5. The rear camera will have a viewing angle of up 135 degrees. Between the lenses there will be two LED flashes and two sensors – a laser autofocus and RGB, a colour spectrum sensor. The front camera is expected to be a standard, 8-megapixel.
The biggest enigma is the solution that LG is hiding under the name "Magic Slot". According to Venturebeat, a magic slot is designed to enable expansion of the hardware capabilities of the phone. Unfortunately, we do not know how it will work and look like. The magic slot is to enable the phone to connect to additional cameras (eg. 360 st.), an audio amplifier or keyboards. It is possible that it is simply a special socket with a magnetic fastening and a series of dedicated accessories - but we will find out everything in the coming weeks. LG G5 is to appear in the first quarter of 2016.
