LG unveiled a cheaper variant of the flagship model G4. LG G4 Beat - known unofficially as G4S - has a slightly weaker specification, but also has most of the solutions that we find in the flagship G4.
LG G4 Beat resembles the original with the shape and appearance. There is no question of leather "back," but made of plastic battery cover with a characteristic design is almost the same as in G4. Naturally there were preserved characteristic buttons on the back of the housing. LG G4 Beat is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615processor, aided by 1.5 GB of RAM and it has a 5.2-inch IPS FullHD display.
Unfortunately, the phone has only 8 GB of internal memory, though of course they have not forgotten a microSD card slot. As a consolation, in G4 Beat we'll find Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with LG UX 4.0 overlay having similar capabilities as in the flagship. LG G4 Beat supports LTE, it has also Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and GPS/GLONASS. The smartphone has a battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh.

Unfortunately, LG announces that depending on the region in which they will be offered, the new model can have different cameras. In most countries Beat will be offered with an 8-megapixel camera equipped with a sensor with a spectrum of colours and a laser autofocus, but the buyers of some Latin American countries will be able to buy a phone with a 13 megapixel camera. On the front - invariably – there will be a 5-megapixel webcam with the possibility of gesture control. There is currently no information about the price, but it is known that the device will be available globally - also in Asia.
