Both the Chinese services industry, as well as social media bring more and more information about the smartphone, which will be released by PepsiCo. It is to be called Pepsi P1 and apparently it will expand the offer of the brand known mostly for soft drinks.

The company probably is not suddenly a full-fledged manufacturer of smartphones, moreover, it was confirmed by Reuters reporters in email correspondence with a representative of the brand. PepsiCo has a rather new marketing idea and uses for its implementation the capabilities of Chinese manufacturers. The Chinese producers, according to reports on the specifications, prepare the device with a display of 5.5 inches with fullHD and a MediaTek MT6592 1.7 GHz processor.

The rest of the specification available today includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash ROM, two cameras 13 and 5 megapixels and a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. The unit will operate under the control of Android 5.1 Lollipop. In the photos we can also see the fingerprint reader located under the rear camera.

The Pepsi P1 smartphone will be available later this month, but only in China. Unfortunately, we do not know the price. There are also missing high-quality images, and graphics showing the smartphone.
