Samsung prepares the successors of the smartphones from Galaxy A series. The recent leaks indicate that the manufacturer decided to maintain the current naming of the phones - presumably so that you can easily "catch up" in the offer...
For now we know that we will have two new models, Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7. They are named the same way as their predecessors, therefore we will be forced to remember their full signatures - respectively SM-A310 and SM-A710x. As you can see, in the case of the A7 model probably we will deal with several versions, differing with the last number in the factory symbol.
Both phones have been recorded by the GFX Bench benchmark, so we have almost a full picture of their specification. Samsung Galaxy A3 SM-A310 will be equipped with a 4.7-inch HD display and a quad-core Exynos 7580 1.5 GHz, supported by 1.5 GB of RAM and Mali-T720 graphics. The phone will have two cameras - 13- and 5-megapixel, both record video in full HD. The rear camera gets an additional autofocus and LED flash. The nominal capacity of the internal memory is 16 GB and the user will have 11 GB. The phone will also have GPS, and NFC.
Samsung Galaxy A7 will instead have a FullHD screen with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and a 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 405 graphics. The memory capacity is 16 GB, exactly as in the new A3, in the photographic part we can also find an identical set as in the smaller model. A7 receives an identical set of sensors and communications modules, such as A3, namely: an accelerometer, Bluetooth, a compass, GPS, a light and a proximity sensor, NFC and a pedometer. Both smartphones probably will debut with Android 5.1.1. on board. At least these indicate readings from GFX...

As you can see, the new models do not differ drastically from their predecessors, so we can expect that their appearance will also be only cosmetically refreshed. Presumably so we could easily distinguish them from existing ones ...
