Yesterday we announced that HTC 10 will be built in several versions, but during the launch there lacked specifics on them. Today we know that one of the varieties - Lifestyle - will be offered in India.
India is a huge and absorbent market, it is not surprising therefore that many manufacturers are trying to adapt to the local specific requirements. One of them is the low price, and therefore "the slimmed down" versions of flagships often get there. It will be no different with HTC 10.
The Indian HTC 10 distinguishes the nickname "Lifestyle" and somewhat weaker version in comparison with the original specification. The phone has the changed Processor: Snapdragon 820 replaced the octa-core Snapdragon 652 clocked at 1.8 GHz, aided by one gigabyte less of main memory (3 GB). There is the different GPU - Adreno 510 - as well as the category module LTE. From Cat. 12/13 we fall here to Cat. 6.
Fortunately, the rest of the specifications and general appearance of the phone remain unchanged. We do not know the official price of HTC 10 Lifestyle, but certainly it will be lower than the price of the base model. For now, the Lifestyle model is designed for the Indian market and it rather won't appear in other countries.
