HTC One S9: hoary old chestnut?

A little quietly HTC has expanded its offer with another model, called One S9. The smartphone - at the first glance - can be considered a redesign of the last year's flagship, M9.

HTC One S9 looks similar to last year's model One M9. This is not a complaint - M9 was a beautiful device with a tasteful, refined housing. In HTC One S9 there was changed the appearance of the front panel – it is now more economical, simpler. There are no changes in the 5-inch Super LCD display with a FullHD resolution. The housing has very similar dimensions (144.6 x 69.7 x 10.1 mm), there wasn't also changed the battery capacity, which is 2820 mAh. There are also BoomSound speakers.

Inside the housing there are more changes. The heart of the phone is the octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 2 GHz processor, supported by 2 GB of RAM. The phone also has a microSD card slot and 16GB of internal memory, of which for the user remains 9.24 GB. So as you can see there is still much missing to a flagship...

Slightly better looks the photographic part of the new smartphone. HTC One S9 has a 13-megapixel camera with an optical image stabilization and lens aperture of f/2.0 with a focal length equivalent of 28 mm. On the front we have a 4-megapixel webcam with UltraPixel technology and 26.8 mm lens, f/2.0. The new model HTC is valued at less than 500 euro.
