In a few days in India there will debut Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016), and with it, the newly developed notification system, called Smart Glow.
The appearance of a new diode (actually: System notifications) we met with the pictures of the coming model Galaxy J2 (2016), in which Smart Glow is to debut.
Smart Glow takes the form of LED ring surrounding the lens of this camera. The system not only will duplicate but greatly expand the scope of operation of the LED notifications. Smart Glow will glow in whole or in part, in addition in different colours. The light will be able to flash in different ways, so you will be able to convey much more information than ordinary's LED.
For now, we know that glowing with different colours, Smart Glow will notify you of incoming calls, and we will be able to assign a specific colour of light to the selected contacts. By highlighting the part, Smart Glow helps you to take good selfies, it is possible that it will also support camera LED flash while taking a picture. There will be also notifications about the weather, battery status and other events. Here - even though the source of this service does not write about it - I can think of the possibility to use multi-function lights for different applications - even pulsing to the beat of the music player ... Maybe Samsung will be tempted to issue a SDK for developers to enable wider use of Smart Glow...?
