During the IFA Huawei somewhat surprised, and instead of a new smartphone from Mate series it showed new Nova series. The new model from the Mate family, we are to get to know... I think it will happen soon, because the device has already appeared on promotional graphics.
The picture comes from the Chinese social network - but it looks authentic. We can see the new smartphone Mate 9 together with a brief information about its specification. Thanks to the publication of graphics we know that Mate 9 will be equipped with a Kirin 960 processor. It's a new system built in big.LITTLE architecture and composed of four cores Cortex-A73 2.53 GHz and four cores A53 1.8GHz and the Mali-G71 GPU. The new model is also to get a dual 20-megapixel camera.
The appearance of Mate 9 refers to previous models in the series. Not removable metal housing gives the impression of a slim, and the screen is surrounded with fashionable, narrow bezels. At the iridescent panel under the display there is the manufacturer's logo, and the fingerprint scanner was placed on the back of the housing. Both lenses of the camera with dual LED flashes were placed under a common cover what definitely improved the appearance of this part of the device. By the way, the promotional image also reveals that Mate 9 appears in an attractive golden colour version. In addition there should also be a variety in silver, and maybe even in pink... Unfortunately, the graphics does not indicate the date of release of the new Mate. On the display that is shown in the picture of the phone appears admittedly a date, but because of the quality of the material I am not able to read it.
