We waited for such a phone from Sharp. After a series of not very thrilling models, Sharp finally presented a machine worthy of its brand: Sharp Aquos R5G.
Sharp Aquos R5G is a smartphone with a not bad, but quite simple block, distinguished by a longitudinal frame of a quad camera and two indentations in the screen. The lower, wider, conceals fingerprint reader, while the upper, in the form of droplet - a 16.4-megapixel selfie camera, with an aperture of f/2.0.
The heart of the smartphone is Snapdragon 865 (with a 5G modem), supported by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal memory, which can be further expanded with a microSD card. The Android 10 interface will appear on the 6.5-inch IGZO screen with QHD+ resolution, with support for Dolby Vision and U-NEXT HDR. Sharp Aquos R5G also has a Dolby Atmos Hi-Res sound system, Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 as well as NFC.

The main camera Aquos R5G has a ToF sensor and three matrices. The basic one has 12 megapixels and a lens with f/1.7 aperture, while the additional one, 40 Mpx takes pictures through a wide angle f/2.9 lens. The last one, 12.2 Mpx, works with a telephoto lens with f/2.7 aperture, giving twice the lossless zoom. The whole is powered by a battery of quite modest capacity for this specification - 3730 mAh. Everything is enclosed in a housing with IP68 protection class and dimensions 162x75x8.9 mm. The phone weighs 189 g.
