Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro look the same
Both models look identical and - there is no point in concealing - they are quite beautiful. On the back they have an interesting shimmering pattern, and their screens are free of indentations or openings. This is because the selfie camera is hidden on a spectacular boom. This boom also acts as a notification LED - thanks to the fact that it is on the top wall - it is easier to see. There is also Always-on-Display. Models from the Mi9T family are unfortunately not waterproof, and what makes them different is the range of colours offered. If you want a phone in pearl white - you have to choose a more expensive model. But this is not necessary, because both are in black, as well as in extremely impressive red and blue colours. Both smartphones have the same weight and dimensions.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro displays are identical
In both models we will find the same screens. These are AMOLED matrices with diagonal of 6.39 inches and Full HD+ resolutions. Both screens have a density ratio of 403 ppi and are surrounded by narrow frames. The screens offer juicy colours and deep blacks. You can adjust the screen contrast as well as the colour balance. Of course, the dark interface mode as well as the eye protection mode, which can be turned on and off automatically, have not been forgotten.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has higher performance
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has a Snapdragon 855 processor, while Xiaomi Mi 9T has a Snapdragon 730, placed one shelf lower. Both models have 6 GB of RAM and can have 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. If you like playing games - choose Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. If you only play sometimes, it's not worth paying extra: the cheaper Xiaomi Mi 9T is fast enough to satisfy most users.
Both models record similar results in the AnTuTu benchmark - between 200,000 and 300,000 points. The cheaper model is closer to the lower limit, while the more expensive one rubs the higher one. I tested both models - and believe me, the difference is hardly noticeable. Both models have the same MIUI interface, which I wholeheartedly recommend. It's really intuitive. Unfortunately, in none of Mi 9T we will increase the memory with a card, so it is worth choosing the 128 GB variant, if we can afford it.
Both models have readers and face recognition and NFC
Both smartphones are equipped with NFC, FM radio and minijack outputs. Both also have on-screen fingerprint readers that work fairly well, but not perfectly. There are erroneous readings. In both models we also have a face recognition system. It can be used interchangeably with the reader - or left as the only security, remembering that it is less reliable than a fingerprint. Recognition works reliably and fairly quickly, considering that we have to wait for the camera to slide out.
Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro have identical batteries
Both Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro have 4000 mAh batteries. In both of them we will also find fast charging, and in sets - 18 W power supplies. The duration of smartphones depends largely on the way they are used, but there is a chance that the cheaper model will work a little longer, due to the less demanding processor. I didn't notice a drastic difference. Working time on the screen is about 6-7 hours, and in normal use, smartphones work freely for two days. At economical - even 3. There is no inductive charging in any of them.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has laser AF
Both phones have virtually the same photographic set. Therefore, we have a 48-megapixel matrix, night mode, telephoto lens and wide-angle lens at our disposal. 20 Mpx selfie camera included. What does Mi 9T Pro outperform Mi 9T with? It has a faster, laser autofocus and an additional mode of recording movies in 4K resolution at a rate of 60 fps. Other differences (although a different 48 Mpx module was used - IMX586 instead of IMX582) can’t be seen. The quality of photos and videos is comparable in both models of the Mi 9T family - i.e. good.

Xiaomi Mi 9T or Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro?
The differences in prices of Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro are not large, as are the differences between the two models. In my opinion, the more expensive one is worth buying only when we get a promotion for the 128 GB model and we like playing. Buying Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro does not make sense - in my opinion, it is better to buy Xiaomi Mi 9T with more memory. And it is on this model that I would bet - unless you want to have a white casing... So - in our comparison Xiaomi Mi 9T vs Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro as a winner I consider Xiaomi Mi 9T costing 299,90 EUR with 128 GB memory. Of course, other models are also worth considering, but in my opinion - less profitable to buy. Finally - I recommend watching the video review of both models:
