Motorola today announced the world launch of Edge and Edge+ models. This is Motorola's long-awaited return to the flagship segment.

This is the first such smartphones in the history of Motorola. Many solutions Motorola used in them for the first time, they are also distinguished by styling. While the back of the housing is kept in a characteristic, company style, the front is already new to Motorola. Endless Edge screens with curved edges will not appeal to everyone - but they give smartphones a modern look. The curved screen allows you to introduce Edge Touch - one of the features of the new My UX software package. It enables a new way of interacting with the device. The edges of the phone emit visible light from a distance regarding battery charging status, incoming calls, alarms and notifications. My UX also includes all known and valued moto functions: from turning on the flashlight with a shake of the hand to turning on the camera by turning the wrist. The new Moto Game Time feature allows the use of two additional buttons with customizable operation at the top of the screen when the phone is turned sideways. Thanks to this, you can play on it with four fingers like on a console. Both smartphones have stereo speakers, mini speakers and Android 10 with the promise of upgrading to the next version.

Motorola Edge+

Motorola Edge+ is a smartphone equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This is the first display of this class in the brand's history. The display has a fingerprint reader, as well as a 25-megapixel selfie camera - in the hole. For the first time at Motorola we also meet 5G network support - of course, apart from interesting, additional Moto Mods modules, proposed for earlier flagships.

The heart of Motorola Edge+ is the Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.0 flash media. The smartphone powers a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh with a quick charge of 18 W. Induction charging has the same power, and Qi feedback has 5 W. For the first time in Motorola we also meet a 108 megapixel camera with a lens with optical stabilization and aperture f/1.8. In addition, we also have a wide-angle camera and tele. The first of these has 16 megapixels and a field of view of 117 degrees, the second - 8 megapixels and 3x lossless zoom. The phone will be available from May, at a price of 1199 euros.

Motorola Edge

Motorola Edge is very much like the flagship sister, but it has a slightly lower processor - Snapdragon 765G. The amount of memory has also been reduced to 6 GB. For consolation - we have the flagship display 90 Hz and the camera for the selfie has not changed. The rear camera is still triple, but the main matrix has 64 megapixels. The Time Of Flight sensor also appears. In this model, however, there will be no wireless charging, and the wired one will limit the power to 18 W. In addition - the battery will be reduced to 4500 mAh. The price of this option will be 599 euros.
