The POCO smartphone family has grown to include the POCO M2 model, which is very closely related to the already known Redmi 9 or the Indian Redmi 9 Prime.
What is the purpose of introducing a virtually unchanged phone under a different brand and name? Maybe it's about giving the impression of an abundance of the offer...? In any case, POCO M2 presented today in India looks the same as the Redmi 9 Prime model already known there, offered in Europe as Redmi 9. The specifications also coincide - POCO M2 only has more RAM - 6 instead of 4 GB.
How is everything else presented? We are dealing with a Full HD+ screen with a diagonal of 6.53 inches, equipped with a droplet notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the other hand, we have a quad camera with 13, 8 (wide angle), 5 (macro) and 2 (background) Mpx matrices. The camera has an interesting frame - the three most important modules, together with a classic fingerprint reader, are placed in a vertical frame, and the background blurring - in an additional frame next to it, along with an LED diode.

The heart of POCO M2 is the MediaTek Helio G80 processor with the aforementioned 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB internal memory. The power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging, although the set includes a 10 W power adapter. The equipment is complemented by: an infrared transmitter, DualSIM, a microSD slot and a minijack port. The price - depending on the internal memory - is 10,999 or 12,499 rupees, which is 150-170 USD.
