Samsung Galaxy S22 - the first renders and the alleged specification

The emotions after the recent - folded - Samsung novelties have not yet had time to cool down, and the leaks about the manufacturer's flagships have already begun. So about the Galaxy S22 series. There are leaks on the network revealing the specification and a set of renderings provided by ConceptCreator and LetsGoDigital.

Six months before the premiere of the Galaxy S22 series (we expect it in early 2022), a leak appeared that revealed the parameters of smartphones from Samsung's future flagship range.

According to sources, Galaxy S22 will have a 6.06-inch display, while S22+ and S22 Ultra will offer 6.55-inch and 6.81-inch screens, respectively. This means S22 and S22+ will be smaller than S21 and S21+, while S22 Ultra will be the same size as S21 Ultra. Both S22 and S22+ will have LTPS panels, and S22 Ultra will receive an LTPO display.

Interestingly, the S22 and S22+ models are to offer smaller batteries than their predecessors - 3800 mAh and 4600 mAh respectively (the S21 has a 4000 mAh battery, and S21+ has 4800 mAh). S22 Ultra is to have the same battery capacity as S21 Ultra, i.e. 5000 mAh. In Galaxy S22 and S22+, 50 MP cameras are to be responsible for the photos, supported by 12 MP telephoto lenses and cameras with an ultra-wide angle lens. S22 Ultra would get a 108 MP main camera, two 12 MP telephoto lenses, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle lens and a laser autofocus sensor.

Moreover, in only a few markets, the phones will be powered by an Exynos 2200 processor with an AMD RDNA2 GPU. Most of the global distribution will work with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 898. Typically, Samsung prepared its flagships in the variant with Snapdragon and Exynos - and the product with the American layout was considered slightly better in terms of performance. But things can be different now, and the Exynos chip, backed by AMD, could even outperform the Snapdragon 898. The RAM and storage configurations will be the same as the Galaxy S21 series.

The video below shows what future Samsung flagships could look like:
