The Indian branch of Xiaomi presented two new models: Redmi 9A Sport and Redmi 9i Sport. They are budget phones with quite similar possibilities.
Redmi 9i Sport and Redmi 9A Sport are inexpensive smartphones that are not only similar to each other, but also a mix of other already known models. Both have been equipped with LCD screens with a diagonal of 6.53 inches, HD+ resolutions and droplet notches for 5-megapixel selfie cameras. On the back, in identically styled frames, Redmi 9i Sport and Redmi 9A Sport, in turn, have single, 13-megapixel cameras (f/2.2), pretending - along with the LED diode - that they are triple.

Smartphones are not equipped with fingerprint readers, but they have mini jacks and P2i hydrophobic protection. The heart of both models is the octa-core MediaTek Helio G25, supported by 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory in the Redmi 9A Sport model or 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of flash memory in the Redmi 9i Sport model. It seems that the memory is the only difference between the new Redmi - because the batteries are identical again: 5000 mAh with 10-watt charging.
