The Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro smartphones were unveiled in India today.
This season, the manufacturer dropped the "Plus" model in its name, with the goal—as Francis Wong, Head of Product Marketing, previously explained—of simplifying the offering. This is a sensible move, and the Realme 14 Pro+ will be replaced this year by the simple Realme 15 Pro. What do the new models offer? They feature large batteries with fast charging, bright AMOLED screens, powerful processors, and IP69 waterproofing. Furthermore, they'll feature advanced artificial intelligence features, including the new AI Edit Genie, which lets you edit photos with voice prompts. There will also be intelligent, multi-colour AI MagicGlow 2.0 lighting and AI Party Mode with creative filters and watermarks.

The Realme 15 features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ processor, LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1 memory, and an impressive 7000 mAh battery with 80-watt charging—despite its slim design being only 7.66 mm thick. It also boasts a decent AMOLED screen, refreshing at 144 Hz and operating at 1.2K resolution. The screen also boasts high brightness—6500 nits at peak brightness. The smartphone has two 50-megapixel cameras – a front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a rear Sony IMX882 with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. There's also an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 112-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. The purpose of the third visible camera isn't described – it's likely a light sensor or background blur. Three colour options are available, along with the following memory options:- 8+128GB – 24 thousand rupees, USD 280
- 8+256GB – 26 thousand rupees, USD 300
