The Xiaomi 13 flagship smartphone debuted in China in December 2023, but its successor may appear much earlier. Why this change?

The reason for the accelerated release date is the exceptional popularity of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro that achieved their sales goals after just 9 months.
In terms of specifications, Xiaomi 14 may bring a lot of new things. The new premiere date may make it the first smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, debuting on October 24. The new processor will be accompanied by up to 1 TB of internal memory, and in addition, the smartphone will get a large 1/1.28-inch 50 Mpx main camera and extremely thin frames. The battery capacity and charging power also look better - Xiaomi 14 will get a 4860 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging, and Xiaomi 14 Pro 5000 mAh with even faster 120 W charging. Both models will also offer 50 W charging again.
