Xiaomi 14 is to become the smartphone with the thinnest frames, breaking previous records iPhone 15 Pro Max and Xiaomi 13. Which model has the thinnest frames among tablets? The one that just went on pre-order in China!

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is a tablet with a 13.2-inch OLED display, 144 Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness. Its frame is 3.4 mm thick, the result of which was demonstrated on Twitter by leakster Ice Universe - the difference between the tablet Huawei and the competitive iPad is very clear. MatePad Pro 13.2 with an attached keyboard also looks good in the photo next to the Macbook Air notebook.

The new Huawei tablet boasts more than just its appearance. Its processor is not officially known, but it is probably the one known from the Huawei Mate 60 Kirin 9000s smartphones. Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 weighs 580 grams and is 5.5 mm thick, but it still houses a 10,100 mAh battery that can be charged with a power of 88 W. It will use a 16 Mpx front camera for video calls, and for photos it will use quite a rich set for a tablet - 13 Mpx main camera and 8 Mpx wide-angle camera. This tablet is also equipped with the HarmonyOS 4 operating system, six speakers, four microphones, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and Wi-Fi, but does not offer mobile connectivity.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 will go on sale in China tomorrow, and the prices of its individual variants can now be checked in the store VMall:

  • 12 GB + 256 GB - 5,199 yuan (675 euros)
