The Redmi Note 13 series of smartphones, known from the Chinese market, debuted in India. Basically, there would be nothing to mention, but the variants for India are different from the Chinese ones, and they are usually similar to the European ones. So - let's check if anything has changed!
Indian premieres are interesting for us mainly when we talk about the beginning of global distribution of smartphone models, and this is the case with the new Redmi. They will reach us on January 25, and there is a good chance that they will be just like in India. So what?
If (and there is a good chance) the assumption is confirmed that we will receive the same as India, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will arrive in Europe unchanged. In other words, we will get smartphones with 6.67-inch screens with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus. In Pro+ models, the screen will be rounded. The screens will have holes for 16-megapixel selfie cameras, while on the back there will be 200-megapixel cameras with optical stabilization and additional modules for wide-angle and macro photos. Redmi Note 13 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, while Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra. In India, these models - depending on the version - cost from 26,000 to 36,000 rupees, i.e. USD 313-433.
In the case of Redmi Note 13 5G we are already dealing with a change in specifications - but for the better. The "core" of the smartphone remains unchanged, but we will also get an 8-megapixel camera on the back of the housing. It will complement the 108 and 2 Mpx units already known from China - main and macro. The rest of the specifications - such as the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor, AMOLED Full HD+ screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and 120 Hz refresh rate, 16-megapixel selfie camera or a 5000 mAh battery with 33-watt charging - will remain the same as in Chinese version. In India, this model costs 18-22 thousand rupees, or USD 217-265. However, remember that it will be much more expensive here...
