During the MWC HMD announced the revival of legendary Nokia models. And we already have their first batch: Nokia 6310 (2024), Nokia 5310 (2024) and Nokia 230 (2024). Unfortunately, they no longer have much in common with the legend...
They did what they promised - HMD resurrected three legendary Nokia models. Unfortunately, it is not likely that the new, simple cells will be as popular as their predecessors. It's more like playing on emotions to encourage customers to buy simple, cheap phones.
The Nokia 6310 model was already tried to be revived in 2021, but the plan failed because the new phone had little in common with its legendary predecessor. The new phone has only a name in common with the iconic business phone Nokia 6310, whose today's prices are almost absurd. Basically, Nokia 6310 (2024) is just a facelift of the Nokia 6310 (2021). A larger battery - 1450 mAh - and a modern USB-C port have been added. Unfortunately, the rest has not been changed - the phone still has a 2.8-inch LCD screen with QVGA resolution, a microSD card slot and a VGA camera. The phone is based on the Unisoc 6531F processor, has 8 MB RAM and 16 MB built-in memory. It also has an FM radio minijack and runs on the S30+ system platform. unfortunately, it only does this in 2G networks - but it has DualSIM.

Nokia 5310 used to belong to the Xpress Music series, and today it tries to refer to the appearance of the old model. It has red inserts on the side, but again we are dealing with a refresh of the Nokia 5310 (2020) model, which only has a name in common with the "old" Nokia. And again we get a larger battery - 1450 mAh - and USB-C and an FM radio. Compared to the model from four years ago, the processor has also been changed, from MediaTek to Unisoc 6531F, and the display has been enlarged to 2.8 inches (QVGA). Unfortunately, the memory was not increased, leaving only a measly 8 or 16 MB (!) and space for a microSD card. There is also a minijack and a VGA camera, but there will still only be access to the 2G network.

The least emotional is Nokia 230 (2024), which is a remake of a model from the times of Nokia 230 from Microsoft. Here we have a simple form and a slightly better, 2-megapixel camera. The battery is the same as in the other two models, as is the 2G communication module and the Unisoca processor. Therefore, I dare say that HMD showed us practically the same device three times, but in different housings, apart from the mentioned camera. Nokia 230 (2024) also has a front camera (also 2 Mpx) and a metal back, but it still has 8+16 MB memory, along with a microSD slot. All phones have removable batteries, but we don't have a price list yet. It is known that the last model described will be the most expensive, but this certainly does not mean that it is expensive.
