In addition to the flagship smartphones Honor Magic V3 and Honor Magic Vs3, a new tablet also had its Chinese premiere, equipped much better than the previous one Honor MagicPad 13.
Unlike its predecessor equipped with an LCD screen, Honor MagicPad 2 has a slightly smaller 12.3-inch OLED display with resolution 3000 x 1920 pixels, refresh rate 144 Hz and brightness 1600 nits. Therefore, you can expect that the tablet will offer great fluidity, clearly reproduced colors and comfort of use even in sunlight. Another great advantage over its predecessor is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, accompanied by the Android 14 operating system with the MagicOS 8.0 interface and up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB of internal memory.
The remaining elements of the Honor MagicPad 2 specification are practically the same as those of its predecessor - the battery has a capacity of 10,050 mAh and can be charged with a power of 66 W, and two modest cameras typical for tablets will be used for photos and video calls - 13 Mpx on the back, 9 Mpx on the front. Currently, it is difficult to say whether Honor will decide to sell the flagship tablet globally, but we already know its prices in China:
- 8GB, 256GB - 2,999 yuan ($414, €379)
- 12GB, 256GB - 3,299 yuan ($455, €417)
- 16GB, 512GB - 3,699 yuan ($510, €468)
- 16 GB, 1 TB - 4,199 yuan ($579, €531)
Except for the new variant with 1 TB of file space, the new prices are identical to prices of Honor Magicpad 13 on the day of release. Looking at the price-to-specification ratio, we can safely say that Honor MagicPad 2 outclassed its predecessor.
