Xiaomi has released a new edition of the Redmi Pad 2 tablet – this time tailored to the needs of younger users. What does the Redmi Pad 2 Play Bundle look like?
The Redmi Pad 2 Play Bundle is technically identical to the standard Redmi Pad 2 tablet. It has an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and up to 600 nits of brightness. Underneath the screen is a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, with the internal memory expandable with a microSD card. There are also four speakers and two cameras – a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) rear-facing camera. Power is provided by a 9000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging. The tablet also features Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity.

What distinguishes the Redmi Pad 2 Play Bundle from the standard model is an additional silicone case that improves the device's impact resistance. The case can be transformed into a functional stand. A stylus, sampling the screen at 240 Hz, is also included. A matte protective film protects the display against shattering. The children's tablet is currently available in Germany for €249. The launch price has been reduced to €200.
