We've barely met Oppo A6 Max, and already its clone, Oppo A6 GT, is entering the market. Interestingly, both models are available in China.
It's hard to say what's behind this move, but each model is likely intended for a different distribution channel. Interestingly, a similar phone is expected to be released soon in India, under a different name – Oppo F31 Pro+. In other words, we'll soon have three models with different names but similar specifications. So what does the "new" Oppo A6 GT offer? Like Oppo A6 Max, the new A6 GT has a 7000 mAh battery with 80-watt charging, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, LPDDR4X memory, and UFS 3.1 storage. It also has a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 1.2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits brightness, as well as a 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, there's a 50-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization and background blur, and the whole thing is protected against dust and moisture with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications.
