Samsung today unveiled a fan edition of its flagship Galaxy S25 smartphone. What does the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE bring?
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is intended to be a more affordable alternative to flagships, yet it retains many of the features characteristic of high-end smartphones. It has a metal frame, and the front and back are covered with Gorilla Glass Victus+. The case is IP68-rated and available in four colors: JetBlack, White, Aquamarine Blue, and Navy Blue. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It's 7.4 mm thick and weighs 190 g. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There's a fingerprint reader under the screen, and a punch-hole at the top for the 12-megapixel selfie camera. The screen reaches up to 1900 nits of brightness and has a narrower bezel than the previous model. The processor cooling system has also been significantly enlarged compared to its predecessor, which in this generation is the company's Exynos 2400, paired with 8GB or 128GB of memory.

The new smartphone is powered by a 4900mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 15W Qi2 induction. The smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (f/1.8), as well as an optically stabilized 8-megapixel camera with a 3x telephoto lens (f/2.4). There's also a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The operating system is, of course, Android 16 with One UI and 8 AI features, including Gemini Live. The Galaxy S25 FE comes with 7 system updates and 7 years of security patches. Stereo speakers, NFC, and eSIM support are on board. The following memory variants will be available in Europe:
- 8+128 GB - €749
- 8+256 GB - €809
- 8+512 GB - €929
