The budget smartphone Redmi A7 Pro has already gone on sale in two variants, and now it's time for the entry-level model. Does it have any other advantages besides its exceptionally low price?
Xiaomi is promoting the Redmi A7 Pro 5G as a practical and easy-to-use phone. While its display may have a modest resolution of 1640x720 px (HD+), it measures 6.88 inches diagonally and offers a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The battery has a capacity of 5200 mAh and can be charged at 15W, but it is distinguished by the option of reverse charging at 7.5W. Other advantages include partial dust and water resistance according to the IP52 class, a 3.5mm minijack socket, FM radio, dual SIM and space for a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 2TB - this will definitely be useful, because the Redmi A7 offers only 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal memory. For photography, there's a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The processor is a Unisoc T7250, and the Android 15 operating system offers two years of updates and four years of security patches.
Redmi A7 Pro 5G will go on sale in India on April 24th in black and blue color variants, with a single 3GB+64GB memory configuration, priced at 10,499 rupees, which translates to $112, €95, or PLN. The Redmi A7 Pro is available in a simple black or Sunset Orange color, with a slightly better setup of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and is priced at 11,499 rupees ($123, €104) on Xiaomi's Indian store.
