Following the recent launch of the POCO C81 and POCO C81x, the third model in this series has arrived... And of course, the POCO C81 Pro doesn't differ much from the other two budget models.
POCO C81 Pro is actually POCO C81 with a smaller battery but more memory. The rest looks basically the same. So we have a 6.9-inch LCD screen with only HD+ resolution and 650 nits of brightness (peak 800 nits, in the base model), but as a consolation, a 120 Hz refresh rate. There's space cut out in the screen for an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0), and the heart of the smartphone is still the Unisoc T7250 processor. While the smartphone now has up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory, the LPDDR4x operating system is still a paltry 4 GB. The list of features also includes a 13-megapixel rear camera (1/3.06", f/2.2) with background blur, a minijack, NFC, a microSD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Although, in theory, the Pro model should offer something better than the base model – it has a smaller battery, with a capacity of 6000 mAh instead of 6300 mAh, but still with slow, 15-watt charging. The smartphone is available in three colors and three memory versions:
- 4+64 GB - $99
- 4+128 GB - $109
- 4+256 GB - $129
