In addition to the ecosystem devices, Huawei today unveiled another smartphone from the Nova 15 family. This time, it's the substantial Huawei Nova 15 Max.
Huawei Nova 15 Max is a larger-format smartphone. It has a 6.84-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2756 × 1272 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 300 Hz touch response. The peak screen brightness reaches 4000 nits. As is its custom, the Chinese manufacturer did not disclose the type of processor used, or even the RAM capacity, stating only that the phone has 256 GB of internal memory and the EMUI 14.2 system. The Huawei Nova 15 Max smartphone is powered by an 8500 mAh battery with 40-watt charging and reverse power. The Huawei Nova 15 Max also has stereo speakers, an infrared emitter, NFC, and a housing reinforced with a metal frame. The device is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a main camera with a 50-megapixel RYYB sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. The camera features digital image stabilization and 10x digital zoom, as well as an additional 2-megapixel portrait sensor. Both cameras can record in 4K. There are three body colors to choose from, and an additional, customizable function button is mounted on the side. The manufacturer has not yet announced the price and availability of this model.
