Motorola's American branch has introduced a new smartphone from the Edge series that could be a hit in our country... but it won't. The Motorola Edge (2026) is a model exclusive to the US market...
It's a bit of a shame that the Motorola Edge (2026) won't be available in Europe in this form, as it could appeal to users looking for a compact, mid-range smartphone. This model features a 6.3-inch Extreme OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and high brightness of up to 5200 nits. The display (covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i) retains the powerful specifications found in other Edge models, but is smaller than those found in the others. The Motorola Edge (2026) features a MediaTek Dimensity 7450 processor, supported by 8 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be further allocated for virtual RAM.
The operating system is Android 16, which will only receive three updates. The smartphone has three 50-megapixel cameras:
- Selfie with an f/1.95 aperture and 0.64 μm pixels
- Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with optical image stabilization, an f/1.8 aperture, and 1 μm pixels
- Wide-angle camera with a 122-degree field of view, an f/2.0 aperture, and 0.64 μm pixels, along with Macro Vision
