Acer decided to remind customers from Latin America and presented an interesting smartphone Acer Sospiro A15. It would be very interesting and original, if only... it didn't imitate Xiaomi 17 Pro!
Similar to the Xiaomi 17 Pro, the new Acer Sospiro A15 has a large camera island with an additional 1.88-inch secondary display. This screen shows notifications, the clock, and a preview from the camera. Furthermore, the new Acer comes in an orange color variant, like the aforementioned Xiaomi, which in turn "borrowed" this color from the iPhone... But that's where the similarities to the flagship end - the Acer model is more of a budget model. It has a Unisoc T615 processor, 6+128 GB of memory, a microSD slot, and Android 16. The interface is presented on a 6.67-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution, but, as a consolation, with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging.

Acer Sospiro A15 even has decent cameras for a budget phone. The front camera is 16-megapixel, while the rear camera has 64 megapixels and an additional AI sensor. The smartphone also boasts a minijack, NFC, and IP64 waterproofing. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and in addition to the striking orange colour, the case is also available in a subdued navy blue. The smartphone will soon be available in Latin American markets, but its price is currently unknown.
