Nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition is a new gaming smartphone with the first and only Dual Active Cooling System in its class.
Nubia has announced the launch of the Nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition, the latest model in its Neo line. Although affordable, the smartphone aims to provide gamers with a positive experience thanks to the AquaCore cooling system – the first and only dual liquid and air cooling system in its class, as well as additional triggers, long battery life, esports-level AI gaming space, and the exclusive AI Copilot Demi 2.0. The Nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition smartphone features the AquaCore cooling system, which combines liquid and air cooling in a dual, active thermal architecture. The liquid cooling system utilizes server-grade, non-conductive AI coolant for long-lasting reliability. Driven by a piezoelectric micropump and a triple-layer cooling film, it continuously circulates coolant in a clockwise direction, allowing for more efficient heat dissipation from core components to cooler areas. The transparent casing highlights the coolant's movement, adding a distinctive, gaming aesthetic.

The built-in active cooling fan works with a flow-channel design to generate high-speed airflow for faster heat dissipation. To further enhance cooling performance, Nubia has expanded the total heat dissipation area to 33,652 mm² by combining VC, graphite, and liquid cooling technologies into a single thermal architecture. Precision is key in gaming, so Nubia has equipped the device with 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 switches paired with a 3049Hz Instant Touch Rate display and Magic Touch 3.0 algorithm. This achieves an industry-leading latency of less than 5.5ms, ensuring instant touch response. The smartphone also features a completely flat back with rounded corners and a 90-degree charging cable for a more comfortable grip.

Powered by the Cold-Core Trinity processor with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, up to 24GB of dynamic RAM, and NeoTurbo Engine optimization, the smartphone is designed to deliver high and stable frame rates. This device is equipped with a dual-cell 6210mAh battery, supported by 80W fast charging (45W PD in the EU market) and bypass charging. It also supports Extreme 5% mode, providing up to 30 minutes of additional gaming time or 27 hours of standby time. The Nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition features a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak local brightness of 4500 nits. Paired with dual stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra technology and a Linear X Vibration Engine, the device delivers a more immersive sensory experience. Beyond the hardware, Nubia has integrated the AI Copilot Demi 2.0 feature to complement how users play and interact.
