Once you realize that the Itel A300C is certainly not an iPhone 17 Pro Max, you might have serious doubts about its merits. While there aren't many, a few strong points can be found.

This is yet another budget smartphone mimicking the iPhone recently unveiled by the Itel brand—and it’s not a bad one at all. Rising above its otherwise average nature is a 6000 mAh battery with 18 W charging and drop resistance certified to the MIL-STD-810H standard; however, an IP rating confirming at least partial water and dust resistance would have been a welcome addition—though it is missing here. On the plus side, it features UltraLink technology for communicating with compatible devices without a mobile network connection, an IR blaster, DTS audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Itel A300C sports a 6.6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 px and a 90 Hz refresh rate, while photography duties are handled by an 8 MP main camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera housed in a teardrop notch.

The device is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T603 processor with 4G support, accompanied by either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 2 TB via a microSD card. The modest amount of RAM does not bode well for smooth performance, though it may suffice when paired with the Android 16 Go operating system. If needed, it is also possible to expand memory with an additional 5 GB or 8 GB of virtual RAM, depending on the specific variant.

In addition to the "Comet Orange" color—inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro Max—the Itel A100C is available in "Lavender Purple," "Classic Black," and "Silver Mist." Pricing varies by region; in India, the 4 GB/64 GB variant costs 11,000 rupees, which is approximately $115 or €100.
