A "Lite" variant is joining the OnePlus N6 model currently offered in India. The OnePlus N6 Lite is the brand's first model to feature a Unisoc processor.
The OnePlus N6 Lite is, naturally, a strictly budget-friendly smartphone. As such, it features a typical entry-level display—an HD+ screen measuring 6.75 inches—though it compensates with a 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness reaching 900 nits, which is impressive for an LCD panel. The screen also supports wet-hand operation. At the heart of the smartphone lies the Unisoc T7250 processor, paired with a meager 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Both can be expanded—RAM virtually and storage via a microSD card—but that offers little consolation. Interestingly, the manufacturer guarantees 36 months of smooth performance... Is anyone buying that?

The OnePlus N6 Lite features decidedly budget-grade cameras—a 5-megapixel front-facing unit and a 13-megapixel rear camera—but it boasts a solid 7,000 mAh battery designed for a six-year lifespan. The smartphone also earns praise for including a headphone jack and meeting the MIL-STD-810H durability standard. This model is priced at 17,000 rupees (approximately $180) in India.
