A new Vivo smartphone that holds a Guinness World Record – the Vivo Y600 – has officially gone on sale. How much does it cost?
The Vivo Y600 gained fame for setting a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream from a mobile phone, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes. This feat was made possible by a 10,000 mAh battery and an energy-efficient MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor. The smartphone also features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800x1260 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, and it supports 44W fast charging. The processor is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device includes a modest camera setup, consisting of an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.05) and a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8)—both of which, unfortunately, are limited to Full HD video recording. Other notable features include an under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphone measures 163.90 mm x 76.50 mm x 8.59 mm, weighs 225 g, and is technically equivalent to the Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80 Lite V2626 models, which are available outside of China. The pricing for the Vivo Y600 is as follows:
- 6+128 GB - 1999 yuan, 280 USD
- 8+128 GB - 2099 yuan, 295 USD
- 6+256 GB - 2199 yuan, 310 USD
- 8+256 GB - 2499 yuan, 350 USD
