FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, POCO F5 Pro supports inductive charging. Although the phone supports inductive charging, a wireless charger is usually not found in the box with the device. It will be necessary to buy a separate device if you want to use this type of charging. The phone can also be charged with a wired charger.
Unfortunately, POCO F5 Pro doesn’t include a jack socket in its specifications. The lack of a jack socket means you will need to use Bluetooth headphones. Alternatively, you can purchase a specialised adapter to connect wired headphones to the device. Phones with a jack socket can be found in our advanced search.

I had it for two days, tested it, and returned to my old s20fe. The POCO is indeed very efficient, has a great screen, and the battery is incomparably better than the Samsung. I did not manage to make it overheat with any application. But that is the end of the advantages. The camera is of very poor quality. After dark, it is not even worth using. Photos of objects in motion are blurred. The three-year-old POCO f2 pro takes significantly better photos. Overall, the phone is efficient and ideal for a gamer. For everyday use, it is unfortunately not worth the price.

Overall, the phone is satisfactory. After switching from the Mi6, the thickness currently bothers me, but it is a matter of getting used to it. To my surprise, the internet over Wi-Fi works noticeably faster. On the Mi6, a Play Store app update of about 80Mb took over 30 seconds. Here, it updates in a maximum of 10 seconds. However, I do not understand why the manufacturer promotes this device through the lens of photography when it lacks a RAW photo saving function. That is a significant disadvantage. Another strange matter for me is the amount of used RAM when no application is running. In such a case, approximately 6.5-7GB is utilized. How is this possible? For comparison, the Mi6 used about 3GB of RAM when nothing else was running. One could argue that newer technology uses more memory for the system itself, but it is worth noting that there are new smartphones with 4GB of RAM that manage to function, while currently produced flagships usually have 8GB of RAM, and not 12 as in the case of the POCO F5 Pro.

Generally, the F5 Pro is a great smartphone and that is indisputable. The problem for many is the camera. The Poco F5 Pro takes decent photos; moreover, considering the price of the phone, the photos are more than correct, even good. First, you need to adjust the software and settings, because some photos in auto mode will turn out great and some will be poor. Even when photographing in good conditions, when everything looks correct in the preview, it later turns out to be unsuccessful. This is a matter of settings and software. The automatic mode tends to brighten the frame excessively, which reduces contrast and sharpness, making the photos too blurry. The HDR mode typical for Xiaomi saturates colors a bit too much, although that suits me and I accept it with pleasure. My wife claims that in HDR, the Poco F5 Pro takes great photos. She is not a photography expert; she simply says what she sees. The wide-angle camera performs quite well, although in weaker lighting conditions there is a certain sense of insufficiency; unfortunately, the zoom works rather averagely - with the standard 2x magnification you can still achieve interesting results, but a stronger zoom quickly causes image blur. At night, the camera also performs adequately, although here too there is a problem with excessive brightening where the area is illuminated by numerous streetlights or buildings. The coloring of night photos is surprising - one photo in the same place will be too red, the second one will be great and appropriately saturated with colors. I forgot to mention that this phone takes great photos in bokeh mode. To summarize; for an amateur and a total novice, the cameras in the F5 Pro are average. However, by changing the automatic settings and adjusting the software, you can achieve photographic results that are more than good.

I have had the POCO F5 Pro for half a year and after this time I can write that for this price it is a very good phone. The screen is excellent, the processor and RAM function perfectly, the battery lasts a very long time, fast charging, decent photos (although not always perfect), the set includes a charger, a transparent case, and a screen protection film (in my case it was already applied to the screen upon taking it out of the box, which is a significant advantage). Generally, when it comes to the hardware, there are no grounds for complaint (perhaps the camera could be better, but at this price we should not expect miracles). Unfortunately, there is a significant negative element in this otherwise positive situation - it is the software, which is a major failure for XIAOMI. After half a year of use, the phone suddenly entered MIUI Recovery 5.0 mode while lying on a shelf and got stuck in a loop. I cannot restart it, and FASTBOOT does not help solve the problem. The only option left is to wipe all data from the phone... If Xiaomi continues to produce such poor software, many people will be discouraged from their phones (this is my second phone from this brand, and if software problems recur, the next one will definitely not be XIAOMI). Another issue is the extensively promoted software updates. Since taking the phone out of the box, there has been only one update. The antivirus scripts are from October 2023, Xiaomi announces the transition to HyperOS, but it is moving slowly. Apparently, the first phones were supposed to receive the update in December 2023/January 2024, it is almost March and nothing... At this rate, probably nothing will arrive until June or December...

I have had the phone for about a year and even before I thought it was one of the best smartphones if not the best smartphone in its class. Considering the price, it is unrivaled. I have the 12/256 version if anyone is wondering. Yesterday's accident prompted me to write this review. The phone was lying face down on a stony surface and I ran over it with two wheels of a BMW sedan. Where there were stones, they pressed into the screen and it obviously cracked, but the phone is 100% functional!!! The entire touch interface, the phone, etc., everything works; it is a shame that a photo cannot be added here directly. In any case, I highly recommend it. The phone is extremely durable...

I bought the phone as a used device in November 2025 for 550 PLN. It was in perfect condition, with two cases and a screen protector. At this price, it is absolutely unrivaled.
Pros:
-price/quality ratio,
-excellent Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 processor,
-24 GB RAM (12 GB of RAM plus 12 GB of RAM from the phone memory),
-speed of operation, battery, and overall impressions,
-the screen is also great.
-fast wired charging and inductive charging.
Cons (but acceptable)
- a bit too large and too heavy, especially in a case; the camera island could also protrude less
-Mediocre cameras, but acceptable.
Overall, I highly recommend it.

Hello. I have had the phone for almost 2 years and in the beginning it was great. Now, unfortunately, it is mediocre. The camera has been average from the start, as expected, but I knew that even before the purchase. I cared about performance and I was not disappointed. Unfortunately, for about half a year I have had problems with it. It can unexpectedly slow down significantly and close running applications one by one. Only restarting the phone helps. I suspect it is the fault of the updates. Other than that, it is OK.

The phone works very well for me. And the camera is good. It amuses me how people complain about this camera. (If you want a very good camera, you can pay more for the Xiaomi 13) Optical stabilization is excellent. I have taken some photos and every one of them turned out well even at night. Of course, the camera itself is not the best, but it is solid, so I do not understand these complaints. I do not need to describe the rest because I have nothing to complain about.

The camera at night is very poor. During the day there is too much blue and weak HDR where there are trees or bushes. The wide-angle lens is very poor (too much blue, lack of detail). The battery is excellent, the screen as well and the speakers are acceptable. Fast processor, vibrations are very poor.

Great phone. Fast, intuitive, without lags or freezes. Very good battery. A day and a half with moderate use. Fast charging. It does not get hot. Beautiful and bright screen. Camera is very good in HDR mode. I recommend avoiding the auto mode. Top-class device.
