Apparently Galaxy Star Pro S7262 in a dual-SIM version went on sale only in the eastern online stores. Samsung has not mentioned it so far officially, although the local branch has already published the manual.
Samsung Galaxy Star Pro is available in two sales versions: S7260 and S7262. Samsung is very serious about the needs of clients requesting phones with dual cards and most recently of the outgoing models has a dual-SIM variant. Another thing is that dual-SIM versions are not available in all countries where the model is available in the basic version.
The manufacturer did not introduce the smartphone officially, but actually there may be nothing to regret. Being a representative of the lowest segment - at least by today's standards - Samsung GT-S7262 has a 4- inch display with WVGA resolution (480x800 pixels), running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and its heart is a single-core Cortex A5 1 GHz.
A future user will get 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM, which makes it necessary to support with memory cards. Samsung GT-S7262 will support microSD cards up to 32 GB. The camera has a 2 megapixel sensor. There is no front camera. The system is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.
Samsung GT-S7262 is not a greedy bite for gadget lovers, but it can be a cost-effective solution for cost-conscious ones, who need only 2G communication, because the smartphone will not work in 3G. With a 7-percent discount this model would cost 6989 Indian rupees (about 83 euro or $ 112 U.S.), but this is not the official price of the manufacturer. Unofficial is also the name of the smartphone, because as far as S7260 and GT-S7262 are one hundred percent certain symbols, the Far East sales service such as Alibaba calls it Samsung Galaxy Ace S7262. Strange, especially since this model might be a poorer brother of Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos II.
I admit that I do not fully understand the duplication of similar designs of the manufacturer. The napping giant is showing signs of life, but Chinese brands slip between its fingers on western markets. In this market segment, consumers may soon lose affection for familiar-sounding names as exotic competition already offers a better configuration at very attractive prices.
