A smaller version of Sony's flagship smartphone - Xperia Z1F - was presented officially. Unfortunately, it will be available only in Japan. The worldwide distribution wasn't excluded, but it wasn't specified even an approximate date of its beginning.
The smartphone is designed for users looking for a compact device, but with the capabilities of its flagship model. That is the case of Xperia Z1F that differs from an "adult" model essentially only with a screen and housing size. There are no changes in a 20.1-megapixel camera with G- Lens optics, which the Sony's top model has. The heart of the smaller Z1 is a quad-core Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.2 GHz , supported by 2 GB of RAM. Sony Xperia Z1F has 16 GB of memory, NFC module and a battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh rechargeable through Qi wireless standard. The 4.3-inch smartphone will be available in four colour variations.
